There is another saying that this Filipino folk song tells the story of a beautiful butterfly flying down the road. Others say it actually tells the story of a beautiful woman looking very fancy as she shows off for her neighbors
ReplyDeleteFor me this song "paru-parong bukid" is an idiom. It has deep meaning to be unaware of the majority. It's about men, because the butterfly represents a male and the flower represents a woman.
