May Bagyo Ma't May Rilim

May Bagyo Ma't May Rilim

May bagyo ma't, may rilim
Ang ola'y, titiguisin,
Aco'y, magpipilit din:
Acquing paglalacbayin
Toloyin cong hanapin
Dios na ama namin.

Cun di man magupiling
Tocsong mabaomabaoin,
Aco'y, mangangahas din:
Itong libro'y, basahin,
At dito co hahangoin
Acquing sasandatahin.

Cun dati mang nabulag
Aco'y, pasasalamat,
Na ito ang liunag
Dios ang nagpahayag
Sa Padreng bagsiulat
Nitong mabuting sulat.

Naguiua ma't, nabagbag
Daloyong matataas,
Aco'y magsusumicad
Babagohin ang lacas;
Dito rin hahaguilap
Timbulang icaligtas.

Cun lompo ma't, cun pilay
Anong di icahacbang
Naito ang aacay
Magtuturo nang daan:
Toncod ay inilaan
Sucat pagcatibayan

  1. If anything, the poem with may bagyo ma't may rilim is easy to understand because the title alone you will find that the meaning of this poem. Say this poem was written by someone who lived in the Philippines when the Spaniards came and embraced the religion of Christianity. Could also immensely grateful to this creature because close proximity to Christianity in his statement to forget speaking belief. This reflected in the statement that, "kung dati mang nabulag, ako'y pasasalamat na ito ang liwanag." Here you can see that Christianity is an instrument of peace and order and loss in darkness and sadness that likened the word "bagyo", "rilim", and "rain or ola".
